Take photos/video Fenton. I look forward to seeing the effects of supporting mods. Right now I have a Nameless Front Pipe and Axle back, but don't seeing me going much further...unless data warrants it

Yeah I have similar mods. Though I still don't have a new over pipe. Did the nameless include the over pipe? And do you think that would be worth while?

So apparently I'll have another one of these new ones to tune on Friday - the ones with the drag reduction built in? As always, I'll keep you guys (and Rob) informed!

After reading through tons and tons of pages of this thread, I'm actually thinking that this will be my next mod after I purchase an Open Flash Tablet (getting the OBT this winter, so probably looking into getting the ESC in the spring). I like the simple and easy install (and uninstall for dealer trips), and it looks to be the next best bang for the buck after my K&N Air Filter and the OBT. It also looks like Shiv will be getting an ESC soon and working on a map for the OBT, from what I read... which looks like it will work perfectly with my current timeline.
Between the Air Filter, OBT, and this ESC... I can pretty much turn the car back into stock form within a few minutes, for undetectable-by-the-dealership mods that won't compromise my warranty. ![]() Subscribing to this thread...

You'll see. Every now and then I think about a header, but my exhaust sounds so perfect the way it is, and I don't need the power. The only reason I'd consider a header is if it would extend the 4000 rpm torque peak that the ESC produces. I've noticed that I really don't rev out the engine like i did before I installed the ESC. When accelerating hard I now tend to shift a bit past 6000 as the boost begins to fall off.

Interesting about the earlier shift.
Yeah I'm hoping this satisfies my own needs for more power and speed. (As for the teaching stuff that's just the cherry on the sundae. As I'm really looking forward to teaching a new generation of kids about cars and hopefully getting them interested in cars as well.)

Full throttle Electric Supercharger Build Thread
Not available yet. A few of us got lucky to be chosen for beta testing. Pricing has just been speculation thus far.
Rob is very thorough about making sure everything is perfect before releasing, and I love the fact he works that way. It shows he cares about his work.

I'm interested in this mod as well. Maybe we can swap the battery with a Lithium Phosphate one? Cold weather isn't an issue in California.

The SLA batteries were chosen for many reasons, one being able to provide a lot of current instantaneously. They are well suited to this application and are very cost effective.

Phantomsuperchargers.com will have the latest information on the kit.
Rob will usually respond to people through the website as well. The kit in its final form will be posted here as well for all of those that are subscribed once it hits open market. I know Rob is working his ass off right now just getting kits together for some of the testers. The key to this kit is getting a good install base with lots of testers and lots of miles to make sure there are no gotcha's. There have already been suggestions implemented into some of the other testers kits such as battery extensions, more aggressive DR and a couple other tweeks and updates to ensure longevity ![]() Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 |
