Allard collision tints for 150 bucks i think. Its automotive paint and whenever tinting. Auto paint is your best bet.

I was considering buying an aftermarket intake, however I've read about the issues that they sometimes cause. ( idle dip, engine light, etc ) That makes me sorta weary, I already bought a k&n drop in filter, and I'm considering buying this hose kit:

Has anyone here upgraded their stock intake over buying an aftermarket one? Do you regret it?

@martin86 has that setup I believe, I went aftermarket and I did have a slight idle dip randomly but after the OpenFlash that issue has never come back.

I actually think I like the sound tube since I'm running stock right now. Maybe if I had a loud exhaust I'd cap it. But that's why I like this particular tube, since I can cap it later if I want.

With stock exhaust on we tested to see if we could hear a difference o @Yruyur car and didn't notice anything.

I installed the blue HPS with sound tube delete (with a KN drop in) in Eeek.
I haven't noticed any issues. It really cleaned up the engine bay. Changed the internal sound. Improved throttle response.

Its very subtle, but I did feel like the silicone tube and KN improved throttle response. The tach needle moved a little faster between 4-5k.

Actual HP, too hard to tell. Eeek still pulled as though nothing had changed.

I know its there, so I think (hope) it was worth it. Just for the engine mess it cleaned up, I think it was a good upgrade. There is like 6 ft of ugly tubes that get pulled off!

I like the interior sound more since the delete. Slightly more quiet, the cabin has a deeper tone. I capped off the hole in the fire wall with an elbow from the old sound tube and some RTV.

Performance 2 outa 5
Aesthetics 4 outa 5

Edit... I also used a step drill and added a few of these Unifilter Air vents to my airbox on the dirty air side.. Added a few extra square inches of intake area.

Went from on intake, to one I made to fix the issues the first one had, to TRD

More detail here-----> http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48553

Since the TRD went on I could not be happier....
