Curious: Can I combine this tune with ANY FI application? Just want to keep my options open, as I am currently undecided between AVO and FA20. Thanks |

I definitely echo everyone else comments about the tune just making the car more drivable and fun. Not night and day, but for a vehicle that's about 25% underpowered, it's a great step in the right direction.
Can anyone explain how to use the launch control? I've tried it a few times and I'm launching slower and less smoothly than I was just launching without it. |

Were you able to get your car running after changing the LC value? I'm having the EXACT same issue.

My idle is still pretty unstable. Not as bad as it was before the tune, but still noticeable. Car feels great nonetheless.

This tune has been the most welcome power mod I have done on any car. I know that sounds crazy but hear me out. I did stage 1, stage 2, and my own custom tunes to my forester xt. A lot of power was had. I did a JB Tuner on my 335d and brought torque from 425 to 550. All that said, those cars had great factory tunes. They also had plenty of power from the factory. The 86 has a lackluster tune stock. It doesn't run smoothly and it actually needs some extra oomph. So while this tune certainly doesn't add 50hp or magically turn the car into a rocket, it really does make the car so much more enjoyable in every way. It's smoother, sounds better, and actually feels like it wants to rev rather than how stock, it feels like it CAN rev, but doesn't want to.

^^^ now that is a great review.
I know exactly what you mean. I had a Focus SVT with a tune a few years ago. While the tune maybe added 6hp, it was a night and day difference in drive ability and power delivery. I only have 300 miles on my BRZ and can already feel these "issues". I already can't wait for a tune...

@shiv@vishnu , do you plan updating or making revisions or other versions of the openflash tablet hardware? I know this product is still new on the market, but I'd like to know if there'll be later products or a final version.

I will be watching for this, but I've not notice any instability during idle. It's actually rather smooth and stable.
