Hey Fenton do you want me to post my impressions, dynos, etc? Or would you like me to create a new topic? Seems like more people just pay attention to this one. Also Rob shipped my ESC today, and I received my batteries already. (Btw- anyone have a good picture of the batteries setup in the car?) So either I get the esc this friday or monday. Depending on how it goes I either install it Monday or Tuesday with the auto shop kids. Ill be taking a lot of video and a lot of pictures.

We will be running a baseline dyno tomorrow. Unfortunately one of the kids broke the odb2 connection from the dyno to my car (dyno part not my car part). So we will have to run speed runs instead. So when you see my dynos expect to see that. We ordered a new connection but it may be a few weeks until we get the equipment.

As for the dynos planned:

1) Stock tune, with Takeda Intake and Front, mid, and exhaust (invidia q300)
2) Open Flash Tune with same mods
3) Phantom ESC with stock intake.... wondering if I should order a new drop in filter (Recommendations anyone?)
4) Almost any dyno pulls that people can think of. (Give me some recommendations)

Damn. Great 1-4 dyno list. That's what my budget is going to allow me in time, and in that order.

This is a great source of information for everyone that is subscribed, please respond here.

Does your dyno have a optical pickup that you can get using reflective tap on crank pulley or electrical signal off a spark wire?

Great dyno plans.... If you stock intake filter isn't too old I wouldn't worry about it, we had zero gain running no filter at all. I can't remember the takeda intake, will it work with the ESC or does it use a solid piece to the throttle body?

Remember when dynoing the phantom ESC that with the stock tune 3000 or so is the best starting point, even a bit higher if using 5th, maybe 3250.

Sounds like you are in for a fun week!

As for the takeda intake it's all one piece kinda annoying otherwise I would keep it. Anyone want to trade for a Perrin cai?

Place the starter battery on the right and the 24vdc pack on the left. When assembling the 24v pack it helps to tape or strap the two batteries together. If you got your batteries from AtBat, you can use the hardware supplied with the batteries.

Try to get 20 or more current dumps from the ESC before the dyno. This will help to condition the battery pack. It wouldn't hurt to put all three batteries on a charger for a few hours prior to installing.

I wouldn't run the car for too long before the tune. My car needed to have the timing pulled a few degrees around 4200 rpm to stop some knock.

I have a battery conditioner. I'll throw the batteries on there right now.

Curious did we ever find out if toma's tune was locked?

I don't believe it is. Rob can confirm for you. We have dyno time this Thursday with @Toma with the 4.5 kW unit plus aggressive Dr plus the aux dump battery

I'm pretty sure rob has a good layout for the battery configuration....I can't seem to find the picture he sent me but Garry's explanation is spot on.

Can't wait to see your results.

I know I'm getting the 250tq but I'm not sure if I'm getting the aggressive dr. Wonder if rob can chime in on that.

@Robftss

You will know if you get the larger square control box instead of the smaller one that is more rectangular.

Larger(rated to 5.5kw):

Smaller:

Well folks stay tuned tomorrow at 530pm MST. We plan to dyno tune the 4.5kw compressor plus all the other extra goodies I am running currently. I will also get a run in with only the DR working.

As of today my car is completely stock with no mods but the phantom ESC
