Why do you all care so much about how long this is taking? You have absolutely zero investment in the project. frs300 is the only one that does afaik. I'm sure the shop isn't going to make a dime on this project based on the hiccups in the build.

Tossing a vendor under the bus for a project that doesn't belong to you.....douchebaggery. Just my opinion though.

If Visconti built engines and did this you'd be burning him at the stake. Just because someone built you a turbo kit you like a lot doesn't mean you have to crank the fanboy dial to 12 every time someone has an issue with the vendor.

Pay me for what?? i dont need the money im just here to support a company that has made my car more alive, you have to have good reviews right? Yea they built me a turbo kit along with what ever i needed around it to keep it from Blowing up! i didnt say FA20 all the way did I ? i just said people should stop blasting when they have zero investment! IMO of course. I have no drama or bs with anyone im just kinda tired of all this! lol when the car is done its done frs300 will be happy and all the ppl complaining will still NOT buy, only say whats next more power blah blah blah! and still complain lol ! quote me on that for future ref.

i'm not trying to say you're like a plant or anything, just that you come of as a bit of a fanboy sometimes. i'm sure i'm not the only one that notices. it's all good.. it'd just be ok to tone it back a bit occasionally.

i got to say IM A FAN OF HIS PRODUCTS!! lol!!! and i get my inbox full of ppl asking that they love the build and want to know info via customer as i Daily it for now!! so i have to be excited and a huge fan! to excite ppl to buy things....if not no one will know how the product is ...i constanly mark my miles on the forum to let ppl know its not a short term thing that FA20club products work and can take the abuse...

Well, this is the internet so be prepared for anything and everything. People care about this build for several reasons (e. g.) friends with @Frs300 , interested in knowing details on the build so they make an informed decision of letting FA20club build their motors, interested in knowing what if any specific thing has been found to be extremely difficult to build this motor, find the timeframe unacceptable etc...

Of course there is people who troll just to troll again this is the internet, but in general people are interested in the product and want to know information or have personal interested in the build a.k.a are friends with Brandon.

Someday this build will be completed and we all can make our own opinions on it. In the meantime, we talk about it. Why not?

@jamesm check out the sig now lol thats a true fan!!! again i understand what u mean about being a fan but to be honest i love my car and what has been done and love to spread the world i get a lot of positive remarks so i continue. i am very nice on the forums never have bad mouth a company and when ppl ask to compare i tell them i don't know i haven't had a full blown kit or whom ever and i just tell them that this is what i have and it works! let me be a fanboy!!! lol

Reading through alot of the comments made on this thread, as well as many other threads, one thing is clear; there are many impatient people on this forum.

This platform is only a year old, the demand eclipses supply right now, and most shops don't have the labor to handle it. I can understand being frustrated when companies make promises but cannot deliver on them, but to discredit vendors for not provided products ASAP when they are overworked is a bit silly.

In this particular case though, I can totally understand the frustration. 6 months is a ridiculously long time to have a car in the shop for. Seems to me like FA20 Club bit off a bit more than they could chew with the particular project.

The amount of errors that have been made on this rebuild makes me think that this is basically an R&D project for FA20 Club, with FRS300 as the guinea pig. In that regard, I hope they keep working on it and perfecting it, and their fully built kits (short block + turbo) go into production in the next year or two.

What other companies are working on fully built motors right now, anyway? Crawford and Full Blown?

I agree ^^.....Ya Crawford has a build but idk how long it has lasted and its a bit $$$$$$$ and full blown has one making some power but I don't think anyone has really opened it up yet and went for like high horsepower like 600++ on a built motor that I know of
