Interesting... the Australian (SADM) roms, have higher stock thresholds:

Code:
ROM:00102BD8 flt_102BD8: .float 38.150002
ROM:00102BDC flt_102BDC: .float 235.0

Well, as most of you guessed. Its the tune.....I flashed to the AVO base tune, and poked along, up over 69 and no problem setting the cruise control. Flashed back to the tune from my tuner, and 69 was max. He said that he didnt change it, but somewhere in there he must have made a change that affects it.

Not even sure what to do, as i asked him multiple times to fix the CC, but everytime, he said its not something in his tune. Maybe i should just bite the bullet, accept the $1000 tune from him as a loss, and move on to a new tuner.

This is a local tuner, so not that he is remote. He is just not much for this car and getting really frustrated. As is myself. Thinking of just asking for my money back and trying to see how that works, then get a remote tune.

Its still a big deal as he is a bit over an hour away, so i have to take time off work, schedule with him a few weeks out, and then just hope he gets it fixed...so far a really bad experience. So thinking of cutting my losses....

If you can get me an unlocked version of your current rom, I could check to see whether the thresholds have been changed, and if so, push them up. Assuming that the rom is in a raw state that can be disassembled by IDA like those pulled by the open source platforms.

Your tuner doesn't need to worry about the tune - I don't even own a BRZ

PM me the rom, and I can have a look whether I can unfold with IDA or not.
