It's not. This car needs more than 3.9" to make it a useable sedan. Unless they shrink the trunk.

This validates comments by Koei Saga (Sep 12, 2013) regarding power upgrades for the GT86 being a hybrid drivetrain.

Also the sedan speculative rendering looks kinda like the new 2015 WRX:

Correct.

Many cars actually have the same wheelbase between 2- and 4-door variants. It all depends on packaging.

Man that would be awesome to have the sedan for a daily and my FRS for a weekend car

But the sedan would really need a 2.5 atleast...or a turbo, same power with more weight will suck. And please dont use anything from the current Corrollas/Camrys for the love of God

Expect this to be called Lexus IS100 in the US and cost upward of $35k.

NO THANK YOU, unless they give the sedan version justice then it may change my mind. A shooting brake version would be cooler to see in my opinion.

I wouldn't mind a sedan version of the FR-S. The wife originally was open to the idea of getting a FR-S until she realized the backseat was completely useless. If this comes as a four door and is actually useful, I might be able to get her into the 86 family after all!

They need to ring up Tesla and discuss an all-electric FR-S.

Jalopnik says shooting break.

I is confused.

Either way...cool to see. Can't really make judgement on a shitty rendering.

I'm down for the shooting break and would be hard pressed not to get one... But I don't want a Scion badge on it! :P

NOTE: This is not aimed to start the whole branding battle crap... I just REFUSE to buy anything with a Scion badge because it should have TOYOTA on there! Personal preference...
