The car I traded in for the FRS was a 2008 Pontiac G8 GT. It had headers, full exhaust and it was dynotuned. It made 353whp and 370wtq.

The huge drop in power really isn't that bad for me. I'm having more fun driving the FRS over the G8 since it was an auto and straight line racing just isn't for me anymore. I have a company car so I just drive the back roads when I get into the FRS.

I debadged the G8 so people were constantly asking me what it is and I'd get compliments on the sound, etc. It was a great car and it will be missed but it was time to move on

417whp/415wtq Neon SRT-4. Still have it but only take it out occasionally. My FRS is much more fun to drive unless I am doing extended highway driving where I can enjoy the power of my Neon.

I came out of a 1993 240SX and a 2010 Camaro 2LT/RS. Sold both and bought the BRZ. The 240 was stock so it had 155 HP minus whatever it's lost over the years and the miles, and the Camaro had 312 HP (never regretted getting the V6 despite what others told me when I bought it). Surprisingly, the BRZ is actually not that much slower. The Camaro did 0-60 in 5.9, and the BRZ does it in, what, 6.3ish with a good driver?
Yuppers...

I traded in my 2 MR2's for my Challenger...looking to get that Go-Kart feeling back.

I traded my 2005 Sti and my 2012 Kia for my FRS. Much happier having one car now!

Still have my s13 240. Selling it soon and focusing on that black kouki in the picture. Haven't dyno'd since I turned up the boost, but I was making 250whp at 10psi. Running 18psi now. It's interesting how similar the two cars feel. The frs feels very slow in comparison, but still love it.

How was the G8 in corners? It was always compared to a 550i. I never A/B'd them.

I came from a 210hp n/a b20z-vtec Integra, and a 175hp slow-poke 07' Impreza 2.5i. Honestly the Integra felt much better. Alas, it was wrong wheel drive. Loving the BRZ

For its size it handled pretty good, even with stock suspension. There are a lot of aftermarket products for them but I don't race or autocross. Body roll was negligible for a 4000+lb car and it was fairly predictable. RWD, IRS, LSD and very near 50/50 weight balance makes for a good handling car just like the BMW, but half the price lol. No manual trans option in the G8 unless you get a GXP model = $34k++

Unfortunately the G8 was plagued with TSBs and recalls for a lot of components, namely lower control arms and collapsing strut mount bushings. I also had issues with it constantly pulling to the right HARD and no one could get it right. I had some other issues as well such as: door locks not working right, lifters started ticking (going bad and would need to be replaced along with cam probably), no wiper blades would work without skipping, etc. Paint was complete crap too.

A lot of things could have been remedied under warranty or with aftermarket parts but I decided it wasn't worth putting any more money into.

Wow. I thought my 550i was annoying. Body roll was non-existant with the active roll bar. Had a couple speakers low, and by the end, the car needed new bushings in the front, which would have been expensive. It also managed to get a small engine leak. Overall, though, from the sound of it, the 550i was the right directions for me.

Yea im all about lightweight rwd cars..if you are coming from a deuce than you will feel at home just with a power difference. Nothing that a couple mods and a tune can't fix.

Kept it. The cars really compliment each other as I'm terrified of turning the vr4 like I do the frs.

~600 awhp, ~3250 lbs.

Yet to get a good launch with the hoosiers..
