A wash with dawn and clay bar should be able to bring it back.
You will want to have the car polished and a wax/sealant applied on top to protect it. If you need a specific direction on which products to use I can help. Someone else mentioned opti-coat and that would be a great addition to protect the paint after you correct your issue. |

If you don't like it...
There is only one way to prevent it. Consistent wash and waxing. Waxing will prevent or reduce the damage to where is is an easy fix. |

How much was that? Maybe we could all just take that and pay $500 more on our cars new and Subaru could do a decent job painting them. That way my clear coat wouldn't scratch when I run a brand new microfiber towel over it.

It wasn't cheap, but well worth it. I had full paint correction and opti-coat done at the same time. I think the clear bra portion was about $1k

I do wash and wax the car, and remove bird droppings when I see them. The clearcoat develops marks very quickly.

Our 2013 Honda Odyssey has the same paint issues. I think this is an issue with almost all new cars. I wash my car weekly, and more frequently if the birds hit it. You cannot let this type of thing sit.
I went with a clear bra on the front bumper, partial hood, and side mirrors. There are a few minor chips here and there, oath wise the car looks good as new. I am a big fan of Optimum spray on wax. |

Anyone else also have problems with their clear bra scratching? If I get a bug on here and really have to scrub it with a sponge, I definitely end up with a scuffed area on the clear bra.

Scion doesn't make it. You should ask if they used 3m or another high quality brand. If they didn't, well then you have your answer. Cheap film was used.

I named my car "young fuck", since it has a lot to learn. I would only name a car Lola if The Kinks was blaring from the radio, but then I'd be afraid it was "hiding something" under the hood. I hope that makes sense.
