I noticed that the per-cylinder compensation for was reduced a bit from the stock values. What was your rationale, if you don't mind sharing, for this? I am guessing that the stock values are probably compensating for increased cylinder temperatures due to the exhaust and cat's proximity. |

I would think that the timing offset for cylinders 1 and 2 are related to the oem unequal length header. Or is it something inherent in the boxer engines that one bank runs differently to the other due to rotation of the engine? I just don't see why timing has to be reduced due to heat of the exhaust.

Is there a website/database available for the different tunes? I am assuming access or a link is provided upon purchase?/ or can we see the amt/ number of maps already available? I am really interested in this, loving those torque curves.

Stupid question.....but are changes only made to WOT tables and not to part-throttle tables? If that's true, then would it mean any improvements wouldn't be felt during everyday driving since I seldom WOT on the streets?

There is noticeable difference during daily driving. I rarely go WOT but the added torque in the 2500-4000 range makes daily driving much more enjoyable. Accelerating from a stop at part throttle is much smoother because the dip is near gone.

Are there any discounts for forum members or military? I am willing to help sell this to locals as well.

Dyno Plot #1 - Stock (Run1) vs. OFT Vishnu Stage 1.0 (Run3)
![]() Dyno Plot #2 - Stock (Run1) vs. OFT Vishnu Stage 1.1 (Run5) ![]() Dyno Plot #3 - OFT Vishnu Stage 1.0 (Run3) vs. OFT Vishnu Stage 1.1 (Run5) ![]() Its really nice to see the tq dip leveled off but I was expecting to see more significant gains when comparing it to stock. Perhaps I am not reading this correctly but it appears the 1.0 map (available to everyone today) provides gains of only 3 hp and 3 tq? The new tune provides 5-6 hp and 5 tq. Am I missing something here? Maybe the point was focused on eliminating the tq dip and this is why we dont see the larger gains mentioned about this product in other forums? thanks

As Fizz said, most tunes talk about max gains, not necessarily gains in peak hp. In Dyno Plot #1 (stock vs stage1 v1.1), max gains were around 15whp in the midrange (dip area) and about 15whp at 7400rpm. Also, I'd question any tunes which claim more power since there is really only so much you can squeeze out of these engines safely and consistently when running on pump gas. We could have posted a tuned run that made 5whp more and a stock tune run that made 5whp less to make a more dramatic result. But doing so would require posting the results of a tune that simply is too aggressive (not stable) and a run of the stock tune with the AIM set to the default value of 0.7 instead of letting it roll up to 1.0 to keep all other things equal. The nice thing that about not selling a tune (we sell a tuning/storage device with free tunes), is that we don't need to necessarily hype it up the tune by claiming the best possible numbers by carefully selecting which dyno results to post. We are merely posting results that you would see in your car. And all the mapping data is out there for anyone to see or adjust. Although I don't see much need to for the vast majority of users. |

Thank you for explaining how to read the dyno graph. I also appreciate that you really emphasize the safety of the engine while designing tunes for the car. Looking better each day

I wouldn't go near Visconti with my worst enemies car. Evidently they catch people's cars on fire after their tune, Mr. Visconti himself is a lying snake that doesn't care about his customers, and yea don't want my car to catch fire

Way to bring up a dead thread. BUT. This is Vishnu... not Visconti.
