Just replaced tensioner, belt (with gates racing), and pulley near the supercharger. The Gates 38006 does need the bearing pressed another 2-3mm into the pulley for the belt to sit centered, very easy with a shop press or even a large vice.

The ACDELCO 38006 has the exact same bearing as the GATES 38006, however the metal pulley is MUCH nicer on the gates. The ACDELCO pulley had imperfections in the pulley that did not sit well with me (almost looked like a raised weld seam in the middle, not cool).

No more chirps!

How much performance did you gain? Are you going to do a smurf blue engine dress up kit now?

I gained approx 4psi @ 2500rpm, and my gauges also turned blue

Does anyone know the diameter for the hose going to the bypass that needs to go onto the new race blow off ? I may need some more for extension purposes because I trimmed some a while back for my aem boost gauge for routing purposes and may not have enough in terms of length

5/32 vacuum hose. You're better off just running to your local auto parts store & buying about 4ft (or however much you think you'll need) of hose so you have plenty to work with. Better than using a bunch of hose menders.

Gates 38006 Pulley
Gates K060975RB belt

The pulley is a somewhat common steel pulley to replace the plastic pulley people have issues with (me included), the belt is the blue "racing belt" from gates. Supposed to last longer, and perform better under high stress

Any one know if this is the belt to run the 3.0 pully? Or is that one a different size?
