So I plugged my video source into vv+ and vv-. Ground to vv- and signal to vv+. Nothing happens. Am I using the correct pins?

There is no aux option in the menu and diagnostics show nothing plugged in to "aux".

Try grounding CGND. I was having a similar problem, and I'm not sure if it was what fixed the problem, but I have it grounded and it works.

Scroll down on your audio menu where the Bluetooth option is. Aux is on that second page.

You need to have the camera powered and have alive video signal when the radio is turned on and going through its start up sequence. It checks if a camera is present.

The car also needs to be in reverse or the head unit needs to be tricked to think it is I reverse.

Also, if you need 12v for your camera you can tap into the 12v accessory which I think is 13 on the 28 pin plug. It's a red/white wire.

That's how I did my rear view cam.

Zoti...I'm currently trying to get just the standard aux video in working (rev camera input works but puts up a parking guide overlay.). It doesn't seem to work. I tried grounding to many different grounds and I just can't seem to get an option in the interface to enable it.

I went back at it again tonight.

I added a switch to vss and grounded my e-brake wire while I was there. These things seem to work fine.

This time I tried to ground the ADPG wire. On one version of the Bespoke units this switches it from audio aux to video aux. This didn't work. I double checked all my connections.

I also started using painters tape to avoid scratching everything up with all the in and out of the head unit.

FooBar says SVXdc said it should work (and I found the thread where he does...I think, so far, no one has hooked this up successfully. So far, it is still speculation). I messaged SVXdc and we'll see what he says. I have a sinking feeling that aux in video is disabled in software.

Gotcha. Your VSS switch worked? I assume you put it on#17 of the 28 pin connector.

Mine didn't work. The head unit uses the GPS speed to determine that the vehicle is in motin

I have the older version of the firmware. The newer version uses gps and vss.

And apparently I'm wrong. The vss switch I installed does turn off the vss, but the car still switches to moving/restricted mode when I'm moving.

My firmware is 15:30/30.07 9.2.2.250040 and 08,07,2012 ver. 44.1004 .

Even more crap news. It appears the rev detection (at least on my firmware version) is a two step thing. I wired a spst switch to the #2 pin on the 28 pin harness (labeled in diagrams as the "rev" pin.). With this switch I can turn off reverse detection but I cannot turn on reverse at will. In other words I have to switch this to on and then actually put it in reverse to get the rear camera input to light up.

That's probably because when you put the car in revers that wire gets a ground signal just like the hand brake. Try to connect that switch to ground on one side and the radio on the other.

I was going to dismiss your post, but it actually makes good sense. I hooked the switch in in-line with the reverse wire. I should have hooked it pin2 -> switch -> ground. This is what I get for messing with electronics late at night.

That's simply how the handbrake signal works. It makes sense that the reverse signal is the same.
