could have been mine actually. I traded it in to suburban farmington hills. Did it have CF mirrors and tint?

Would anyone be willing to drive to Davison? I would be willing to have it at my place with an abandon road that is like a perfect mini track 100 yards from my house. The viper, CTSV, S5, GT-R, and my self often take advantage of it. If not I think sense no one seems to know the parks we might be a little better off going to a restaurant I know someone here owns one and they might be able to host us.

As for AutoX tomorrow the weather man is talking rain and money is a little tight without my check for the government work I did in real estate. For me it will all depend on how the weather looks in the morning.

Photo from yesterday's autox. Even with the light rain, it was a blast. The rain really highlighted the need for better tires though.

Well at least the rain got all the dirt off it for the pictures! If I knew someone wanted to take pictures of it I would have put my track tires and rims on. They make the car even lower and look a lot better than stock.

Hi all, just picked up a black BRZ Limited. I live in Oakland County and I'd like to meet some other BRZ owners. I'm also looking for suggestions on must-have mods and was wondering if anyone knew how to get updated map data for free. Mine came with the 2011 Q3 data and the dealership wants to charge me for an update. Thanks!

Apparently it's not just us:

3. Percentage of exterior color
WR blue mica 33.9%
Satin white pearl 24.4%
Crystal black silica 16.5%
Sterling silver metallic 8.4%
Dark gray metallic 6.3%
Lighting red 6.1%
Galaxy blue silica 4.4%

These numbers are from January so I'm sure they've been seen/discussed, but I missed them. Got a good chuckle at just how lopsided the numbers really are.

If it's a manual you need to lower your clutch asap. I also really like the difference in shifting feel with a weighted shift knob (just don't get a white one). If you got an automatic, may the lord have mercy on your soul.

Once the salt hits the road, stay FAR back from people. The rock salt will sand blast the front of your car. The paint on these cars is pathetically thin. I have all kinds of dings and chips in my bumper from road trips.

If you're going to brave the snow, get Blizzaks. They're the best snow tire you can buy. I plan to use my STI once the snow hits. AWD FTW.

I've seen a few 86s on Airport Highway west of Toledo.

Anyone planning a meetup in NWOH? If not, I could probably host next year.

I'd have to completely disagree, I love the clutch engagement point on this car, all it takes is a real quick kick and sidestep, very easy to execute, part of the cars charm for sure.

It pains me to say it, but I agree with DKPJester.

On delivery, the clutch engagement was high enough that my heel was off the floor when engaging it. Seeing as the engagement is about 90% controlled with an inch or two of pedal travel, this means shifting smoothly was nigh impossible if the road surface wasn't perfectly smooth. It's a hell of a lot easier now I can keep my heel planted.

And I keep seeing a Red FR-S on Woodward, usually parked near or at the Redcoat Tavern in Royal Oak. Anyone we know?
