When mine blew off we weren't able to find it with soapy water since the leak was underneath the intake manifold so we just couldn't see those areas well enough. The shop hooked up a hand-tight coupler to the throttle body and gave it some air. It was obvious there were two leaks.

Aren't you ready to throw in the towel yet? I'd guesstimate that 94% of all forced induction issue threads are from you.

Smoke test it, your nearest shop can do it for around 30 bucks.

Or, you could spend $30 to get/make your own presure tester like he linked to, and check for leaks as many times and as often as you want. Even if you aren't touching the pipes leaks can show up on their own.

Good investment. Do it yourself. I think i made mine for about 5bucks...of course i had some stuff laying around. Mostly just bought a couple pvc caps at homedepot. Found a major leak first time i put it on.

I don't care who you are, that was funny. I figure if our boy @whitefrs 's car is still running strong then this car is damn near bulletproof. Just picture him looking just like his avatar as he drives his FR-S.

What are the most common places you have seen the leaks coming from?

Under intake hoses?
MAF?
Catch Can Hoses?
Intercooler Piping?
