I actually stuck a GoPro on when I drove home one day...but my Youtube account is on probation due to a copyright strike though, so I can't have 15 min+ videos for a while...

Anyway, my commute is a whole lot of this--sitting in traffic on 280. Takes me about 45 minutes to do 29 miles on a good day....90 minutes on a bad day. I do get 1.2 miles of twisties near my house though

This is not the commute, but sometimes I drive here on my lunch break since it's only a couple miles away

So because of this thread I went ahead and took the route I posted up there ^ today and was pleasantly surprised by it. There was hardly any traffic since it's back roads the whole way. The only time I was slowed down was going through a couple of little towns and catching every red light they had, but aside from that it was pretty quick. Took roughly the same as my main road/interstate route, but less traffic headache, and more scenic.

I will say that there were also some decently curvy parts, but it's not a road you want to hoon on. It's very thin with no margin for error at any part, and the pavement is rough and broken pretty much the whole way. It's not the smoothest ride, but it's still better than traffic.

I wanted to take my commute video and compress it into a short time lapse. Anyone know a decent video editing software suite I could buy to do that sort of editing? Been needing one for a while now.

I don't commute in my 86. I take the loser cruiser (8:20AM Train).

Though once a month I do drive in. I would every day but the parking at my work is ridiculously expensive. 18 bucks a day and that's the early bird rate.

Did they ever finish that big loop 1604 overpass at 281N?

Unfortunately I can't go through the Abbott Labs- restricted access.
And the rest of the that route is all stop lights. Don't worry, I have fun outside of the work commute.
