The car was delivered to another dealer who took it, put tint on the windows, marked it up quite a bit, and didn't want to give it up. I saw the window sticker from the other dealer to prove it.

Fucking douche bags... At that point I would have killed somebody if I didn't get the deal I was promised.

Definitely bitch to get free shit for your troubles. Hope you didn't pay for the tint if you bought it.

Hopefully your dealer did not charge you for the tint. Congrats, it will be nice to have the car for the weekend..

I would be fuming if I were you.

I'd also be on the phone with Subaru of America and calmly explaining the situation and that they're about to lose a customer to Scion if they can't fix this (even if you aren't willing to actually buy an FR-S).

SOA should be able to help you. If they say they can't, they're lying. GM customer support helped me with a dealer warranty issue once, and one of my buddies had issues with an Audi dealer technician; he called Audi, they investigated, and the dealer fired the tech.

Edit: I may have misunderstood. Are you actually getting the car at the price, and at the price you negotiated?

The other dealer marked the car up but it wasn't their car to sell. My dealer got the car back and I bought it at the previously negotiated price. Sorry for the confusion, the car is home with me now.

Glad to see you got the car. Now remember this event, and never, never take your car to the dealership again unless you REALLY need to (which you won't).

Hang on a minute there friend. I fail to see how the car being shipped to the wrong dealership is the fault of the OP's original dealer. The shipping company and/or port authority are more likely at fault. I would actually argue that the OPs dealer did a great job of getting the car back and honoring the original price despite that upgrades that had been applied.

In the real world, shit happens, mistakes are made. We are all human. Great customer service happens when a provider steps up and corrects those mistakes by making a wrong situation right. If that is what happened here, then I hope the OP will frequent the dealer for service/etc to support them.

To the OP: congrats on getting your beautiful BRZ. Enjoy it, and welcome to the BRZhood!
