My crickets came up after about 1000 miles, but died after 10k. Not sure if anyone else has had this. i only noticed it after a friend got them in his FRS after 1500 miles

Same, you're not alone, there's a handful who have experienced similar.

My car is always having issues as well, every time i take it in i'm told its normal...been about done with my brz for a while now. I hate the damn car but i'm not ready or willing to lose 10 grand by trading her in.

On a cold morning, I get some creaking from the rear deck. I also had some dealer problems that were eventually resolved. Other than that, great car. Never heard a cricket. Either I don't have them or they're so quiet as to not matter.

In any way, the car, in what it is supposed to be, should be mechanically essentially flawless, and it isn't... far from it.
Thanks for everyone's input, certainly made for an interesting discussion.. I'm still surprised though how some owners demand so little quality wise from a company and its ditribution network... In my book, ''wearing ear plugs'' is not a solution to crickets... |
