I have yet to purchase it (waiting for RHD support). So are the stock and tuned throttle mapping different?

You don't have to purchase it to look at the maps. Just go to their site and download the maps and the TunerPro software and you can open and do a stare and compare.

Did a quick compare of my stock and Stg 1.1 map. I'm still new to all this, but if the throttle map is the Accel Pedal - Torque Request table, then yes, there are differences. It starts at 3600 rpm and goes to redline. No changes under 3600 rpm. Using the compare tool to determine all differences between the 2 maps shows multiple differences to a bunch of maps so the tune is not just a modified throttle input map.

Correct. Most of the effective differences between the v1 and v1.1 are in the VVT maps. Just some changes that improved torque in in the 2800-3400rpm range.

We now support RHD (non-US) cars. You will have to email me your ROM after you read it with the OFT. After that, I will create a map for you and email it back for you to load into the OFT and write to your ECU.

Cheers,
Shiv

Thanks. One more question: My ROM's version is 00. Should I go to the dealership to ask for an update to 01, or does it not matter?

Can this be used yet by those of us who have previously flashed the ECU with Ecutek?

I don't see why it couldn't. My question would be for those who've already used Ecutek, will the tablet permanently backup the Ecutek tune instead of the factory tune? Doesn't it write the current map to ROM storage the first time it's hooked up to the car as a safety backup? What if that person wants to flash back to stock for a visit to the dealership? Can the factory tunes be downloaded?

None of this actually applies to me, I'm just curious.

It won't hurt to ask for the newest software since it incorporates the DI seal fix. But all our tuned ROMs already have this fix to it really makes no difference.

The problem with an Ecutek flashed ECU isn't with read the ECU (by the OFT) but rather writing on top of the Ecutek flash (with the OFT). The Ecutek flash employs some kind of write protection which makes it impossible to write on top of. This is why Ecutek users should flash their ECU with the stock ROM that Ecutek provides upon request. Unfortunately, this means that you need to have the Ecutek programming cable (or access to one) or need to re-visit the tuner who flashed your car (if you don't have a cable).

It looks like the partial throttle knock sensitity issue (2700-3200rpm) that even the stock tune has (which drops the IAM) has been sorted. As well as the issue with long term fuel trims creeping up. Just going to test it for a few more days before releasing it
Any updates on the updated Stage 1 map you mentioned above?
