Wow, 22 ft lbs seems light connecting to the block. Is that really correct? The overpipe bolt is almost 33 ft lbs or so.

Is the spacer that comes included with the JDL header working to avoid CELs effectively?

I wasn't aware they included a spacer. That's news to me!

All it supposedly comes with is the gasket that attaches between the headers and the over pipe. Can't say for sure since I haven't received mine yet however.

Perhaps you could make a new thread with a poll of yes/no on who is waiting.

I am still waiting. Last update I got, the welding was being finished Monday and heading off to the coaters after that.

As far as I know #11 (mine), #12 and #13 from the group buy are finished and headed to coating or shipping and #14 and #15 are being welded up as we speak. I should get a tracking number before this weekend hopefully.

Shame that #1 hasn't been replaced with a non-faulty product yet.

Time to add a bit of positive vibe to this thread.

My header just arrived from @JDLAutoDesign so I thought I'd share some snaps to let peeps see what the updated design looks like and get a feel for the quality of the current production units.

I'll mostly just let the pics speak for themselves from here...

Some snaps of the whole unit (yeah, I got the overpipe too).

Shot of the inside of the collector since it came up earlier in the thread. Hopefully this pic speaks for itself.

Collector from the outside.

The connectors to the block.

Updated flex joint design.

Some random detail shots.

I feel that I owe the guys at @JDLAutoDesign a bit of an apology. Yes it took forever to get here and I gave them a really hard time but in the end they delivered way beyond my expectations.

I'm so floored at the quality of the end product I feel kind of embarrassed for whinging now. Way to show me, guys.

All you other peeps on the list hang tight...it'll come.

Can't wait to get it on the car now.
