Need some quick opinions...

I'm looking to purchase 18" Enkei M52's before November. I was pretty much set on black, but after looking through more pictures the Hyper Black is looking very nice as well. I have a SWP BRZ. Which wheel finish do you think looks better on SWP?

They are both very nice looking. IMO go with your gut.

Get black. You can always plastidip them metalic.

Or. Get silver.

I would just Plastidip the OEM wheels. Why even waste money on getting aftermarket rims?

I plasti dipped my stock wheels but I wasn't very satisfied with the results. It started raining for a few days and the dip peeled off after about a week.

I was thinking about powered coating the stock wheels but I'd rather put that money towards a nicer set of 18's. These are such a good price. My gut instinct is to go with black. The only thing that draws me away from black is that from a distance you can't even see the wheel. Just looks like a spare tire. lol

Plus, with all the rainy weather the wheels got dirty very quickly. The wheels just looked cheap and faded IMO.

Don't let the Plastidip fans hear you saying that.

I was really hoping plastidip was gonna work out for me. I was probably just unlucky because of the weather. Anyways, I did like how the black looked on the car so at least I got that out of it. I've always felt like black wheels look too much like a missing hubcap.

Still looking for help. The poll is pretty much even. Can anyone give me some pros/cons as to going with either hyper black vs. black?

I'm ordering the wheels this coming Monday, so hopefully I can get enough insight to make a confident decision by then. Thanks!

Black wheels remind me of the old days when a guy lost his hub caps and was too cheap to replace them.

Honestly that's how I feel about black wheels as well.
The picture with the Cobalt looks like these wheels might have a wide enough spoke to where it doesn't just look like a black hub cap though.

I think I'd be set on Hyper Black if it were a little darker on this wheel. When compared to hyper black on other wheels, the M52 looks more silver.
