@BlueBlazeRacer - Just for curiosity sake, how is SCCA gonna feel about 20-40 people crashing their event and not participating? The cover sounds good but would hate to be unwelcome.

I cant guarantee how much parking will be availible under the cover, its all depends on the turn out, but its better than a rando spot in Randle. Its not the first time a car forum finds out about the races and stops by to check it out. Spectators are allways welcome. If anyone is a jackass the group could be asked to leave, pretty simple. Dont be afraid to ask anyone any questions, everybody loves to talk about their cars. The only logistical thing that I can think of is pull up far enough past the waiver tent to get that many cars off the highway, not a big deal. Also any minors have the minor waivor form filled out and signed.

Sorry Guys, I'm Out! (I really didn't want to be "That GUY", but...I guess I am)

I really wanted to see this thing succeed as a Mega Meet and then even as a more casual cruise. The thing of most interest to me was really just to meet all of you but, it seems that circumstance has conspired against us. I won't be coming out this weekend.

Digital, I will PM you to make different arrangements to pickup and pay for decals.

I was thinking the same thing about a parking garage somewhere. If we could actually reserve a space near the top so that we could pitch some canopies and then BBQ in the open air and then come back into the garage for cover. This would make an ideal place for inclimate weather events! Hmm... something to think about possibly for out of typical season events.

I know it's probably pointless trying to stop this on an internet forum, but would you mind not using "gay" in this manner? None of us are 12 years old anymore, it's really uncool man.

We can just move it to next weekend (so far weather is nice) and whoever can show up, will show up. If next weekend doesn't work (i.e. gets super rainy) then we can just break off into local groups and meet in a covered area or a big pizza place.

Yeah, last year the meet was in August. Mother Nature sure knows when to turn on the rain...

Side note, there will be one less FRS on Sunday. We moved my family birthday thing from Saturday dinner to Sunday AM. Have fun out there! : )
