That last one leads into my next pet peeve, a complete lack of respect for my brand new car. Since day one, no one has ever asked for permission to bring food or beverages into my car, they just do it, like it's no big deal, like I didn't just get a new car. I caught my sister with mustard when she decided to bring a soft pretzel with her one time. This seriously bugs me, and no one cares.
Sounds like there is a gross lack of the laying down of smack on your part. If it's your car, don't let them use it.

What?! That's something that happens!? I have never seen anyone do that in my car, but I yell at everyone that closes the door using the window. You can tell no one's ever lifted themselves up using my glass as my mind is still in tact enough for me to use this forum.

YES! I guess another one of mine would be when other people cause me to break my cruise control, a common reason being this. It's ok if there's a good reason, but there should never be a good reason to use brakes on the interstate. You should be up to speed by the time you enter, and you should get on the brakes on the exit. If people only had the tiny capacity required to work together, interstate driving would be a beautiful thing.

YES! If I'm looking side to side, about to go, and someone does this, I just give them the death stare. 99% of the time they don't even see me though.

Um... isn't that what everyone is supposed to do? Left lane for passing, middle lane for cruising, right lane for entering/exiting? If I'm on a 6 lane road, I live in the middle lane and pass in the left. I end up having to use the right lane because of all the fucking up people do as described in every post above, but on a perfect day, I never use the right of 3 lanes. Maybe it's different for trucks? I actually appreciate their staying in the middle, whether they're supposed to or not. It's the people that don't pass them fast enough that are fucking up.

When you say cruising, do you mean going 10-15 mph slower than posted speed limit? At least go as fast as the posted limit. It's obnoxious when both the right and left lanes are going much faster and you get stuck behind someone who drives like they have nowhere important to get to at 6:30 am. They have side streets for that IMO.

Here's another one, pretty big one for me. When people decide they want to pass a person, but insist upon never speeding up. Let's say the passee (guy being passed) is doing 60mph. The passer (the guy passing) is doing 61mph. He gets into my lane (I'm probably doing at least 75) and proceeds to stay exactly at 61mph, going by the passee an inch at a time in a feat that should take seconds, but instead takes 10 minutes because he refused to speed up.

A lot of mine have been said. But mobile sites. I fucking hate when I want to find something quickly on my phone, but it directs me to a mobile version of the web page. OMG it makes me furious. Then, when I press view full site, it stays that way only till when I click another link. Fuck mobile sites.

Husband: Where do you want to go for dinner?
Wife: I don't care, anywhere.
Husband: Okay, how about ____?
Wife: No, not that.
Husband: Well then, how about ______?
Wife: Yuck I don't want that!
Husband: Okay then you suggest something!
Wife: Why do I have to pick? I already told you I don't care!
Husband:

Here is a new one that happened to me this morning...

On my way to work, driving with the windows down and all of a sudden, one of these pulls out in front of me:

He begins accelerating and then this starts:

And the truck driver decided to change lines and get right in front of me

Definitely washing my car today/tomorrow... which means it'll probably rain tomorrow even though the forecast says 0% chance.

By "cruising," I just mean traveling at the driver's normal pace, whatever that may be, uninterrupted. I cruise in the middle lane. If I catch someone, I pass them in the left lane, then get back into the middle lane. If I need to get off the interstate, I get into the right lane within a mile of my exit (sooner if there's a lot of traffic) then hang out in the right lane at the same cruising speed until I get on the exit ramp. Then I begin braking.

Of course, in heavy traffic, it always turns into a free-for-all. Usually all 3 lanes are going roughly the same speed.

I have no problem with someone going 5 under if they're not blocking anyone. But yeah, if traffic is heavy, go with the flow, even if the flow is speeding. Regardless of what some men in suits decided is the moral velocity for travel at this particular period in history, trying to go a mile or two per hour below the speed limit to avoid breaking laws while everyone around you is going at least 10 over is just dangerous. I have a sneaking suspicion cops will let you slide in this case. I'm talking to you, old people who will never read this.

I think you hit the nail on the head when you said there are side roads for that. That's pretty much all my FR-S will ever see. Yeah, I'll probably take it on the interstate every once in a while, but only out of necessity. You won't catch me joy riding on the interstate. That's like having a high class hooker (Washington DC level) all to yourself for a whole night, so you decide to make the most of your night by taking her to Applebee's and making sure to have her home early by 8pm. The interstate is there for efficiency. And landing airplanes. But mostly efficiency!

When someone closes the car door with the window rolled half way down before I can I get it rolled all the way or down.

All of the aforementioned street etiquette or lack thereof. Not using turn signals, professional blocking in the passing lane, and people that DO NOT know how to use their tranny to slow them down vs using their brakes (poor use of brakes). And people braking way too soon when there is 3 car lengths in front of them. Kentucky drivers suck!

Another one of mine is that people/drivers literally slow down to almost 25mph when it's raining. It wouldn't be too bad if it was the first rain of the season, but when it's been raining for days, it gets old. CA drivers suck! People drive faster in the snow up in Reno, NV with less accidents!

Why the hell do you think you're some goddamned NASCAR driver who has to go 70 in a 40 zone, tailgate me as much as possible when I'm doing 5 over, visibly cuss and get upset and bang on your steering wheel, whiz past me as soon as you have the opportunity whether or not it was in a legal passing zone... and then a curve comes up and OH SHIT A GENTLE CORNER, I BETTER TAKE THIS AT THIRTY MPH BELOW THE SPEED LIMIT.

Oh well, it's immature, but I've been known to ride their ass through said corner. :P
