Pet Peeves?

Anyone have any weird or unique pet peeves? Or maybe some common ones that we can all agree on? Here are some of mine:

When people close my car door using the glass. Just because your car might have a frame all the way around the glass, doesn't mean they all do. That shit ain't structural, son! And your fingers almost certainly have prints.

When people don't maximize the windows they're working in on a computer. I swear I get claustrophobic and overly anxious if I'm trying to help or show someone something on a computer and they're working in a tiny ass window for no reason.

Listing music in "Song - Artist" format instead of "Artist - Song," in other words, the way Windows Media Player does it. The thing that prompted me to start this thread. It's so hard to scan through a big playlist of music when it's sorted by artist, but the song title is listed first. I'm particularly compulsive about this on my own computer. I have Winamp set up to display "Aritst - Year - Album - Track # - Song". It looks way sexy when I have all my music loaded into the playlist at once.

Getting road rage while walking. My own fault, I guess. Happens all the time though.

When people say "seen" instead of "saw." I seen you the other day. Bullshit, you did.

When people camp out in the passing lane. Of course. I think this is one for almost everyone by default. There's a whole thread about it.

I rode motorcycles most all of my life and the one single thing that became (and still is) my biggest pet peeve is the group (most often Harley riders) that maintain 'loud pipes saves lives'.

TBH I even get pissed at myself when I bump into the window when I get out haha.

No blinkers. Few people have basic driving etiquette anymore, I'm actually shocked when people let me go. People forget, but failure to use signals on every turn you ever make is a bit crazy.
It only really gets to me when I'm waiting at an intersection. I'm waiting for a break in traffic then all of a sudden this guy slows down and turns... I missed my chance to merge because he didn't have a blinker on. Now I gotta wait for another break in traffic...Thanks, guy.

+1 on closing the doors using the windows and people who do not at least go the speed limit.

Worse yet, when people pull out in front of you at the last minute and do not even try to accelerate...

Oh yea, let us not forget blinkers, that are apparently a wasted feature on vehicles since no one hardly ever uses them

Yea, I think most of my pet peeves deal with driving.

Aside from driving, when people touch the computer/TV screen leaving finger prints or scratches... especially when it is MY COMPUTER/TV

It drives me crazy when people not only don't go the speed limit, but also can't even stay in their lane. All I can think about is if they're going slow, maybe they're just careful, but if they're careful, why can't they stay in their lane. A ton of people around where I live have this issue and I can't figure it out.

The blinker one bothers the hell out of me.

The window one bothers me, especially when I told my dad not to do it because it might damage the window and he just looked at me annoyed and said it wouldn't. He has no respect for me or my car and it just annoys me. I even expressed my concerns and asked him not to rag my car out every time he drives it (I get between 28 and 31 miles to the gallon driving it spiritedly but every time he borrows it he brings it back with the computer stating low 20's.) and he just laughed it off at first, and then got annoyed at me when I pressed the issue.

That last one leads into my next pet peeve, a complete lack of respect for my brand new car. Since day one, no one has ever asked for permission to bring food or beverages into my car, they just do it, like it's no big deal, like I didn't just get a new car. I caught my sister with mustard when she decided to bring a soft pretzel with her one time. This seriously bugs me, and no one cares.

When people are on their phone during checkout. Or any time they should be talking to an employee. I've always found it rude when you're at the store and paying buy yapping away. Or checking into a hotel.

How about when someone pulls themselves out of your car using the window?

1. When people swerve to a different lane every couple seconds and eventually end up where they were in the first place.

2. When people put there feet somewhere else other than the floor of the car.

3. When someone leans against your car carelessly.

Work:

People that click their pens over and over. People that snap/clap as a hand gesture when talking. People that beat the shit out of the keys on the keyboard when typing. People that don't do their job.

Driving:

People that don't use signals. People that cruise in the passing lane. People that can't maintain constant speed. People that have no depth perception.

My pet peeves are pretty much just society as a whole.
