As for the AT ... my understanding is that these AT are the same trannys in the IS-f jus with 2 less gears ... so holding the HP should not be an issue

I have the AVO kit, currently uninstalled, but i ran the kit for 8k miles or so.

Install took around 8 hours. I took breaks. The instructions are clear enough. The hardware is ample, providing extra length of rubber hose for you to make a partially custom fit.

The kit pulled quite well from the 3k range on up. No issues with over taking anyone, but like always it's rpm dependent being a turbo, and that makes the dead stop races kinda funny. If you try to brake launch, the torque will essentially overpower the rear wheels if you are overzealous with the right foot, and put your car into a standing burnout. ( nice for shows not the go's) get it right though, and she'll spin from first into second and continue pulling through the roof.

My shortened version is this: the AVO kit is well built for the money, offers great gains, and looks stealth.

Before boosting, think about forging your block, upgrading your spark plugs, fuel pump, and injectors all at the same time. It'll be well worth it. Since you're AT, might I suggest an upgraded intercooler or AT cooler.

Any questions just PM me.

We installed a kit a couple months ago that was auto. He's pushing around 300rwhp or so with no issues:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDG7ckyEIGk"]Get up to 480 HP with this Full Blown Turbo Kit @ ModBargains.com - YouTube[/ame]

Fast forward to 1:00 if you want to see the video if it driving. I'll have another video for FBM coming soon as our next kit should be here this week.

Hmm... If there turn out to be a lot of autos pushing 350whp that could tip the scales for me on getting an auto vs manual.

Which turbo did you get? I am guessing it is north of 400 whp though.

Stock P&L kit 512 to the rear wheel on an auto. Their tune has also fixed most of the torque converter issues, and makes power past the 7400rpm auto limit.

Turbochargers work well with automatic transmissions due to the torque converter.
