This is what I did as well. I am really blown away at how KW retains ride comfort. Most people who ride in my car are surprised when I tell them it is on coilovers.

User manual says 9 rebound / 6 compression front and rear.
RCE suggest to start at 10 / 7 front, 7 / 8 rear.

![]() KW puts the firmer springs on the rear because the motion ratio is lower back there, so a firmer spring is needed for an equivalent rate to the front. See the sticky thread I made in this forum on spring rates. Some people are putting the firmer springs on the front because these cars do not have problems understeering, so a little more front spring rate goes a long way in improving stability. There's a balancing act and it depends on tire choice, driver preference, application (auto-x, street, track), and other mods. We often do even rates but it all depends. - Andrew |

I'm running KWs and I did flip the springs front to rear for better balance for autoX, but they are still not ideal spring rates IMO.
The reason the kit ships with stiffer springs in the rear is because the car is that way stock so out of the box the kit will retain a stock balance. In my case the stock balance is not what I was looking for. You can just take them right out of the box and install then (and get an alignment) and everything will be just fine if that was a concern of yours.

Why no one talk about camber? for the RCE suggestion, whats the front and rear camber if I only got KW V3? I just order my V3 and LCA, and plan to go -1.5 or more front and -1 rear. Will this be a good setting with RCE damper setting?
@Racecomp Engineering Thx!

Not to be a jerk, but if you go and buy X suspension from another shop, then on the same day turn to us and ask for tech support, it kinda rubs us the wrong way. I'm glad to help people where I can but part of buying from us (and other good shops like CSG, Turn In Concepts, Rally Sport Direct, our other RCE dealers, etc.) is that you also get good tech support. We've posted a lot of "free" information because we like to help people and like talking about suspension, but we really don't like doing other shops work for them as I'm sure you understand. There is a lot of information on the board here provided by the community to help you too. - andy |

LOL I actually asked about the camber.. and I order whiteline camber bolt from u...
Not trying to get tech support.....just some general talk in this thread....cuz I think people are talking about damper even if they hav different other setting. So I assumed that they all hav nothing but KW V3, nd the biggest difference IMO is camber. And I @ u cuz we are talking about ur recommend damper setting here.. and u might help us. .not as a seller, but like general talk.:happy0180: Quote:

Ah okay. That's fair.
![]() If I recall you were running some pretty wide tires in the rear. -2 degrees camber front and -1.5 in the rear with 0 toe front and a tiny bit of rear toe-in will work as a good all-around street/fun set-up... In general the alignment is done first, then you worry about the damper settings. - Andy |

I think ur r developing a top mount right? Is it done?
Or u think I will be good to use those whiteline bolts on slotted hole without any issue and reach -2 front? Quote:
