then it would take quite an effort from an idiot to get it into gear...
My truck doesn't have a lock out but the spring on the gate to get to reverse or low is VERY heavy. So much so I usually just slap it over. |

Lol reminds me of a time my friend (who owns a 350z) drove his brothers old '04 mustang GT. On the free way, after 5th, just shoved it into reverse LOLz. Poor tranny

LOL! kinda forced to be cuz i got a hand me down (: but this might be the first car i buy myself depending on the trunk space. thats the only thing that matters for me so im hopin it'll be what im lookin for ><

mazda
My mum's mazda 6 has the reverse gear next to first but you push the gearstick down to get into reverse. doesnt take much to get used to.
