Get the 10 series, if you can't find one then get the BRZ Limited and swap the front bumper skin.

From May '12 to Aug '13 its been 9.7k BRZ to 24.9k FRS. So it is easy to say you are wrong, scion has never been a brand that reflects exclusivity; this car is no different.

Actually you would be incorrect. Scion is a US brand only and there will only be 2500 10-Series FRS in the world from start to end of the model's life cycle expected to go to about 2018. So you need to look at combined years and global numbers as well when it's said and done. It's still exclusive if you only look at domestic numbers anyway.

Those are domestic numbers. The value of a special edition is usually gauged by that cars features; in this case they are on par with a BRZ limited. Unless people will want to add value because its rare, though I dont see much extra value in any other of their release series models.

So some people want to hate because they don't like a silver color they've never seen in person or they just hate 'SCION'. Whatever, it's cool. 2500 people don't agree the BRZ makes any sort of better argument than a 10. |

I feel if you like silver go for the scion otherwise , grab a brz. But either way in the end you'll end up with an amazing car , and if you can appreciate it for what the car was designed for you will be to busy smiling ear to ear at every corner to second guess yourself on what arguably is a few minor differences in interior , spring rates/dampers, and a badge... Either way you go , you still end up with an amazing car with a lovable personality!

I bought it for the feature set and looks. I hate argento/silver, but Silver ignition is badass. Don't care for the BRZ mouthguard bumper, boomerang lights, black tach, silver dash. Nor do I like being forced to buy/pay for what I consider an ugly spoiler to get the push button start or dual zone climate. Leather is also just more work to maintain which matters not as I'll be replacing the seats anyway, so why pay for those in my case. Regardless, everyone has their own preferences so no right answer. The 10 series gave many of us a choice for a combination of features we couldn't get previously and all wanted. Before that, it was which car would I buy to start swapping parts into. That's why we/I bought it. So stop hating people. |

Man, so many getting riled about something so silly. If you like the silver Scion, get the FRS. If you prefer something about the BRZ (seats or navigation unit) get the Subaru. Geez. It's not like either car is going to be a collector's item. Bottom line, we're all family and we're part of the same group of owners.
