It really depends on which brand you're more of a fanboi of. In addition, my observation over the years is that I see more women driving Scion than Subaru. Furthermore, I pulled the trigger on the BRZ once I've sat in both cars. It was a very easy decision for myself.

I spiritedly drive a MRS and notice a plethora of 300lb hefers driving them. I have no idea how they get in. Despite the intellectual curiosity, it diminishes my enjoyment not one iota.

LOL! Notice I didn't say FRS and BRZ. My statement is very true though around my neck of the woods. The folks I see in Scions, whether it be XB/XA,X? or whatever models they have, are >75% women. Whereas the folks in Subarus are older gentlemen (stock) and college kids (modded). Of course, head up 2 hours up the mountain in Reno and the statement about Subaru changes quite a bit since it snows during the winter.

Sorry to get off topic, OP.

That is news to me. I've personally have not seen anyone over 300 lbs in an MRS. It would be quite entertaining to watch them get in and out.

Given the production ratio you'll see 9 Scions for each BRZ so I don't think you can draw any male female comparisons from frequency between brands.

One interesting tidbit: you see hardly any women driving any two door Porsche. I bet you'll see a lot of women driving the FRS/BRZ. I suspect the FRS will be slightly more attractive to a female driver from a styling detail perspective. The BRZ seems slightly (and I do mean slightly) more masculine and "older " in appearance. Only young women are likely to want a low slung sportscar even if an older woman might enjoy driving one. The FRS definitely appeals to the younger driver more than does the BRZ. I think that's why Toyota branded it a Scion for our market.

Hell no it would have been a Awd understeering blob with weak internals...dude get the 10th anniversary it looks sweet at night with sprinkles of yellow and light blue...

No need to get upset LOL! That's from my observation up in NorCal and it's just that! My observation. It's not a hard fact.

@Suberman, funny how you brought up Porsche and women. I actually saw 3 2-door Porsche at a Starbucks this weekend and all were driven by older women with one having stuffed animals in the back seat. In comparison, I've only seen 2 FRS/BRZ (one of each) driven by women since the twins became available.

Its actuallly 2 women in my complex with Porsche's a 2013 Boxter S and a 2014 Caymen S...both are manuals and not PDK's...2 cool ladies that love to hit the twisties...they know their cars to...i see woman driving everything here 2 chicks pulled up to Supercar Sunday in a Lamborgini Aventador and a Ferrari 458 itailia. But of course this Is Cali....maybe Miami you will see that, but not many other places....

It is not even 3 Fr-s sold per BRZ. It is a little over 2:1 for sales this year, I believe Subaru increased production and was able to allocate more BRZ's.

I did see an older gentleman oozing out of his older Miata the other day. I don't know his wife but I'm sure it's her fault somehow.
