Thanks. This rom actually appears byte-for-byte identical to the rom I pulled from my car. However, I it doesn't seem the map definitions quite match up. is there a different XDF for this rom?

I hope you still have some in stock by my next paycheck. Fingers crossed. Was going to spend that money on an oil cooler, but I guess I'll just make due with thicker oil for the time being.

^^^ from my reading, unless you're tracking the car and your oil temps are in the 300 range you shouldn't stray from the 0w-20

Yup I track my car in the hot California dessert. The first 2 track days I went to ambient temps were in excess of 110f. Last one I went to was a night event so it wasn't quite as bad.

I noticed a clutch in option in the pro tuner for the ignition cut, could tooling around with this give a little pop pop when I shift?

The ROM that we base our XDF file on has slightly different map locations than your original ROM. We haven't bothered making XDF files for every ROM since we update everyone to the newest ROM version anyway.

That's what I figured. Do you plan on offering for download, in addition to your base maps, a map with stock original values? I ask this, as I am interested in comparing the differences between this and the tuned maps.

Good idea. I'll add a stock rom to the download folder on Tuesday when I get back to the office. If you need it before that, email me at shiv@vishnutuning.com and I can send it to you.

what headers?

I was hoping to get back to the dyno this weekend to retune for my fa20club headers but they have not sent me the cat-less pipe yet so it's gonna be next weekend at the earliest. FWIW optimal cam timing is definitely different with these headers compared to stock manifold.
