I also have the OEM BRZ sunshade and love it. Fits behind the driver or passenger seat just fine.

I have the OEM one as well. It is pretty durable and heavy compared to a roll up one. It is cumbersome trying to fold/unfold when there is a passenger, since you can't fold it while its on the dash. I usually chuck it in the back seat when not in use.

How did you place your order? I tried ordering one online over the Labor Day weekend sale and there wasn't a payment method for a gift card. I also called the parts department and was told they don't take gift cards over the phone. I live out of state so picking it up in person isn't an option. Thank you!

During the check out, just type in the giftcard number in the comment box. They'll charge for the full amount and i guess refund the amount of the gift card. I was told to do that by one of the reps.

Yes the shade takes up less space than a rolled sunshade but no it does not have velcro or anything to keep it from being unfolded. Just find a slim and long area to store it while driving, if you don't have a passenger then between the passenger seat and door or if you have a passenger the backseat works.

That's the place right there, wedged between the seat and door.
