Need BRZin Norcal for Hydra EMS

Hi guys. Thank you for all your help the first round. The Hydra for the FRS is out and fully tested and now we need a BRZ for some quick tests of the auto climate control. If anyone in the Bay area has a BRZ with auto climate control is willing to help it would be much appreciated. We just need to sniff out a few things from the CAN computer.

If you want a Hydra EMS for your BRZ you will be handsomely compensated or if you don't want a Hydra EMS but would still like to help, please contact me. If you want to be compensated please just let me know and we'll work out the details.

Thanks,
Phil Grabow

Honestly we just need to plug the Hydra EMS in, run a few tests of the Climate Control, hook up the CAN scanner, "sniff" out what we need, make and adjustment with our Hydra software. Once that adjustment to the software is made we can then just plug it back in an confirm.

We are not doing any tuning or anything of that nature we just missed something on the auto climate control vs. the FRS manual AC control.

Hydra is like a standalone ECU system that Element Tuning is using on their track car I believe and is working with it to get all the features working for the regular FRS/BRZ

It's a full replacement, plug and play, user tuneable ECU for the BRZ/FRS/FT86. The heart of it is that is converts the tuning over to speed density and allows the end user to have full control over the direct injector and port injector maps plus of course everything else such as ignition mapping, boost control, flex fuel support, and quad variable cam timing tuning.

It's for customer who wants more control over engine tuning but also wants to end user access to the programming.

Yeah I have a few project cars myself

Yes the Hydra is available for the FRS we just missed something in the BRZ auto climate control we didn't discover until we were fitting some cars in China. Should just need a couple hours to fix the CAN code.

Thank you for everyone that offered help on this thread or via PMs. One of the board members on here will be helping us out this weekend so we are all set.

At some point I will be hitting the Bay area myself to tune some cars. I'll post up at that would be a great time to pick up a Hydra.

Thanks,
Phil Grabow
