Just now I went up to the store and spotted a bike cop hiding in a driveway (a frequent spot of theirs). On my way back I saw him chase down a silver Corolla S and a silver FRS/BRZ (they were clearly racing based on the speed they were at when he popped out and hit his lights). The Corolla pulled over right away, but the twin kept going until the cop raced up behind him and blipped the siren. As I passed I noticed the cop give a nod, gesturing "yes, you too". They must not live around here.

Heres what I do. Any car enthusiast, I dont care how terrible their car has been done and even if I hate it, or how seedy the person looks, I smile and give them a thumbs up. If we then meet at a stop light ill be like hey i like what youve done with your car! And hopefully they will compliment my car and then if they want to drag race, sure I guess, not really my thing. But im serious even the douchiest of people can be won over with a compliment. I find that the thumbs up with tuners is pretty much a universal converter from come race me bro to nice car bro

hubs just called me to tell me that one of those lifted diesel asshats blew soot all over the brz. He got up next to the rednecks and they were all "lets go ricer, lets see what you got?" so hubs said "ok. I'll even give you a head start." So off the the truck went flooring it onto the highway and my man just puttered on. Wouldn't you know the truck was pulled over by a state trooper a mile up the way and my hubs gave a big old
while passing by.This is why I love him as much as I love my car! |

Had my car for almost 3 weeks...
here are my douchebag encounters. 1) 2013-ish VW Tiguan 2.0T (tried to get me to race on the highway...) 2) Early 2000s Chevy Impala (At a light... turned green did a burn out and took off) 3) Pontiac G8 (tried harassing me for 20 miles on the highway... no dice) 4) Mazda Miata (some punk rock dude with huge mohawk with top down...) |

Some dumb idiot in a new Q50 tried to pass me accelerating hard in 4:30 afternoon traffic, and he had to slam on his brakes because he was driving straight at a camry in the turning lane.

Ok, not terribly proud of the following
but this car (86/brz/frs) is something very special, so have to share. Went for a very long drive in the hills this afternoon actually scoping a drive day for another car club I am a member of. Was going through a country town at the speed limit when I had 2 issues to deal with. A wanker behind me in a large 4wd truck/utility vehicle and an absolute cock on a bike who past me on the wrong side of the road at double the speed limit. I saw RED!! and as soon as the speed limit changed I took off, obviously leaving the **** in the truck behind me and chasing down the biker.Pretty soon I had caught the biker and soon ended up (after following him for a few kms/miles relatively closely) forcing him off the road (as in him pulling over and calling it a day) due to the sheer speed the 86 carries through the corners, pressuring the biker to go faster or get out of the way. As mentioned above I am not terribly proud of my actions and I am sure my actions do not justify the means, but this car is simply awesome. Quite frankly guys, you do not have to prove anything to anyone, these cars are so good on twisty roads as to embarrass much more expensive and credentialed vehicles...very, very impressive I love this car!!

just had the worst race me bro experience.
i'm w/ my girlfriend at a stop light and 2 college age kids pull up to my right in a lifted chevy pick up (idk what it is, I don't care about trucks) they start revving their engine and say "wanna get owned by a chevy?" when the light turns green, we both launch and I passed them before the intersection was over. I then get in their lane so I can turn right at the next light and while i'm waiting, they pull next to me and say 'seriously tho, its not very fast' I just paused and said 'how does it feel to get owned by a Toyota?' and turn and sped off w/ my middle finger high haha. like they know what their talking about. people assume our car is slow just based on here say and car reviews. slow is relative people! |

Not really a "race" type situation but on Thursday after leaving a motorcycle dealership I spotted this red Sentra weaving in and out of traffic so I catch up to him and it's a SE-R, I didn't see any Spec V on it so I assume it was a regular SE-R. The guy even had his dog in the backseat driving like that, then the idiot decides to tailgate and stay with me for a couple of miles.

Maybe it's the area I'm in but most of the people around here don't try to race lol, I usually just end up trolling angry BMW drivers on the highway lol
I've had one EG hatch pull up to me ( I'm assuming a single slammer) and rev, looked like he was 16 or 17, so it was late and on a straight stretch so I gave him a little show. I launched, and spun second and still took him by a few lengths in about 1/8 mile but I pulled I to the fast station where my buddy works and he just came in and started asking me all about it lol Other than that I get angry BMW Audi owners on 395 who think because I have a sporty coupe I have to drive 85+ so when they start tailgating me I usually find the next slow vehicle in the right lane and just match their speed
