You guys realize if you drove faster, you'd get less tickets, right? Because you'd catch up to traffic sooner, and then would be keeping pace when you went by the cops using their radar.

Seriously, this has happened to/worked for me so many times it's hilarious.

One ticket I got for 35-over could have been avoided had I been doing 40-over instead. I'd been keeping that pace via cruise control for 10 minutes and was about about 10 seconds away from having to turn off cruise control as I approached an 18-wheeler out in the country when I went past a cop hiding in a private country driveway with lights off. All of a sudden I was getting a speeding ticket. 5km/h faster and I would've been behind the truck driving 90 instead when I went past the hidden driveway.

Edit: Just in case you guys didn't realize, I am joking, and I realize this is terrible logic.

And since we're on the topic, you should watch this video:

Doing 100km/h on the 401 is simply quite dangerous these days. Average speed is like 115-120km/h in order to flow with traffic. Going any slower is what causes accidents!

Sounds good to me.

Big well lit parking lot, central location is good for most, good beer selection. I'm a fan of variety, but it's nice to have consistency as well. Everybody knows where to go. It makes invites for noobies easy too. "Come on by, we're there every Thursday"

Is there a better "regular meet" place?
