Just as a heads up to those of you who think Lexus is bulletproof because you've had one before:

http://www.consumeraffairs.com/automotive/lexus.html

http://www.carcomplaints.com/Lexus/

And again, as it was mentioned in this thread, an enthusiast forum will have many more complaints than your average drivers who are less attuned to the little things. For example, here is ClubLexus' maintenance section: http://www.clublexus.com/forums/maintenance-11/. There is a reason it exists, because sometimes you get a lemon.

Now, what I am curious to hear is if, when your car is running properly, do you enjoy it?

I know no car will ever be perfect. However, I've had amazing luck with my Lexus' and the service I receive. I haven't had it running properly since it had 1500 miles, so no.

But you enjoyed it for the first 1500 miles?

Why don't you trade it in for an RX-8.

It's all right. It isn't anything special though. I'd take a 328i over an IS250 any day.

Would you complain about these issues if they were fixed by your dealer?

I wouldn't have any reason to. But they haven't been fixed. Not one of them.

It's the same exact sound that others have had with their axle issues that their dealer took care of.

Did you go to the dealers with all your mods on? If so then that's your fault

Good luck getting your issues taken care of. It can be incredibly annoying having issues with a car and a service department that writes off the problems, so I can understand your frustration.

If I were you, I'd trade the car in and get a car that will make you happy. No sense being angry/upset over a car, just to save some money. It's not worth it and life is too short to be miserable.

In the future, it's probably best to avoid first-year cars. Also lightweight sports cars that have little in the way of sound deadening, especially if you're the type to worry about sounds/creaks. It'll drive you crazy if you're not prepared for it.
