Celica was derived from the latin word coelica, meaning heavenly or celestial, and well supra, I guess that would've been super celestial before they were separated.

corolla=latin for small crown.
camry=anglicized phoenetic transcription of the japanese word kanmuri, which=crown.

All from wikipedia

Bahamut definitely does not fit with the image of this car.
If anything, Pandora.. (big things, small box.)

(Not to mention.. Pandora sounds a bit like "Panda", which is a part of this car's heritage.)

as far as naming goes, something that relates to swift movement would suit this car very well, as it is supposed to be quite agile.

sorta like dexterity, agility, any words that would fit that scheme and still roll off the tongue with excitement.

btw spanish translation is destreza or similar, so how bout destra?? hmm, well then again? maybe not.

And as far as snakes? why not culebra, too close to "celica"

I'm just pitching ideas
How about Dextera?
Kinda fits in with the naming scheme, right?

But hopefully something new.

Maybe Deriva, (drift in spanish)

Because Trueno means thunder, and Levin means lightning, perhaps they will continue the spanish names.
- Depends on how long you've known celicas
- Do you know anything about supras?

Supra is latin for above/over/excessive

celica is a word play on celestial (also latin)

Toyota bases a lot of their model names on latin words (sometimes spanish too) hence why I think that if it is going to be an original name, it'll likely fit into that part of the Toyota mold.

I don't say Feather is good choice, but it's their goal to make this car lightweight.

To be quite honest, not really... though it would produce some laughs.
Anyway, I was just making a joke about spanish names.
