I'd buy the car off of you, but since there are issues the most I could give you is like fifteen bucks.
If I get this shit fixed, its yours for $35k. Isn't that what people are asking for these right now?

I think the point here is complaining here isnt doing anything. You are pissed at the service, we get it. Continuing to complain about wanting another lexus isnt gonna do anything. You have gotten good advice on the next steps to take. Nobody else has widespread issues to this scale so its a lemon type thing. It happens. If the problems are that bad how could it not be duplicated? Get toyota corporate involved. They will make sure you get a fair shake at this.

This sucks, we're all sorry. But responding to every post with the same complaints, once again, will not do anything. Go to corporate, sell it, or take an axe and sledge to it and put it on youtube. Those options are not gonna change complaining to us. You'd be surprised how much easier it is to help and provide good service to a calm person over someone crazy pissed.

Edit: fwiw my car has spent about 6 months in the shop, when really all it needed was around 2.5, and this was for multiple factory issues. So i can understand the frustration.

I am doing stuff. I've contacted corporate. I'm just responding to the stupid responses I get because they're just that. Stupid.

I agree... I wrote Subaru complaining about my dealer and they sent me a $100 parts/service coupon. Only negative is that I have to use it at the crappy dealer! The dealer may not care, but corporate will at least try to!

"Ignoring" is always an option.

With in 6 months after introduction, there have been plenty of used FRS's.

I wonder why?

There are way too many issues on this car and I have yet to see them fied on the 2014 model.

Its been over a year. Also, a quick search on cars.com of the New York City area (30 mile radius) shows 4 used. I wouldn't exactly call that "plenty."

I feel your pain about the dealership. The last time I talked to someone there he literally said, "what did you expect? Service like a Mecedes Benz?".
