Sunoco 93 octane on the 93 octane FI Visconti tune. this was just a few minutes of tooling around at various speeds and RPM. Enjoy!

And is that not reason enough to change tuners???? Do you need to wait until the car is rod knocking before you decide to switch tuners?

It's funny you say 2 out of thousands.... ALL of the FI tune logs i have seen from the former super star would make me scared to drive the cars. Period. Granted that is not thousands but it is more than 2. Give it time more people will come forward.

In the interest of fairness, i have seen a few pump gas logs that did not look bad. Not what i would consider worth the money, but not bad.

OK, I'll bite, why is your knock correction learned value zero? Hmm could it be because john had a lot of issues with the IAM working it's way down to zero becaue of knock so he just decided to defeat the whole course correction (IAM) system?

Why the hell have you seen them and no one else? I'm trying to get something good going on here. Post em up!!

WAIT!!! ALL? I just posted my FI (Vortech Supercharger) log. It was scary?

I really want people to come forward. Everyone post their log. Seriously.
Let's help each other out. John sure isn't going to.

Not sure. Would no knock not warrant a no knock correction learned?

This will explain the details better than i can after a few belgian ale's.

I saw this on a few of his tunes. I assume he was having issues with the IAM continuting to work it's way down. You have 3 components to knock control on subaru ecu's.

Feedback correction (what is logged as Knock correction (ca))
Course correction (IAM changes)
Fine Learing (the system that decides when to move the IAM up)

The IAM system relies on the ignition advance table, which is added to the base ignition timing by the formula Learned Knock Correction = IAM * Ignition advance map. there are a couple of load and rpm tables that affect when the course correction system is at play, but from what i can see of your log, JV have zeroed out the ignition advance map.

I can not thing of any good reason to do this. It defeats one of the OEM knock control mechanisms. On a forged internals motor perhaps, but then it would be dyno tuned and on the conservative side.

I will say that even those -1's are a lot more frequent than the last pump gas tune i did for my car and that was using kroger gas.

In short, the igntion advance map looks like this in stock form, if it has been set to zero (as would be indicated by zero knock correction learned value when load is over .6 g/rev) there is an issue the tuner was trying to work around.

One makes 245 WHP, the other makes 278 WHP. The proof is in the pudding.

Psssst... its not the gas, its ruled out when it has been the same in the car since I bought it more than a year ago.

Also, its the last post Im making about it. Its beaten to death, you take the facts and come to your own conclusions. No need to agree with me. If you still think its the gas or my car more power to you
If I had a horse, I would kill it and invite you over to hit it repeatedly with me (beat it sounds too gehy )

This was at idle. Sorry I don't have a knock log to share, but I didn't feel like hitting the gas with maxed out fuel trims and four check engine codes (one being p0171 = lean).

EDIT: Codes are not present on stock or ANY OTHER tunes.
