You can't actually recover that much energy from the suspension, but this is a nice simple self-contained active suspension system which can be quite capable if they give it a generously powered oil pump. Beats McLaren's hydraulics, no piping hydraulic fluid all over the car, consumes less power. Could be the next Delphi magnetorheological dampers if it takes off. |
