No it's been very recently updated if I'm not mistaken. It was dormant a long time, though.

Can these extra features be disabled?

I'm probably the odd man here, but I don't want to alter my driving experience, other than that little bit of extra power.

With the baseline maps, flat-foot shift is disabled (RPM reduction when clutch is depressed is set to 0). Launch control is set to 6500rpm but you'll only experience that if you are at a standstill, depress your clutch and rev your engine wildly. Both settings can be adjusted from there, by the end user.

Personally, I feel the same way as you. I don't particularly care for flatfoot shift since it tends to false trigger if you rest your foot gently on the clutch pedal as many tend to do. It's really more for dedicated drag racing when you are either completely on or off the clutch pedal and shifting quickly. For daily driving, it's a little annoying which is why it is disabled.

OK, so Shiv flashed my ECU last night, and running the 4 piston AP Racing kit and 18x9.5" wheels with Pirelli rubber, I noticed an instant gain. I didn't have a chance, after last night's meet, to put a ton of miles on the car, but she was dancin pretty happy on the on ramps and around corners. REALLY looking forward to getting her out on some mountain roads tomorrow (sunday) morning.

Thnx again Shiv

Are you saying that the tune improved your handling?

i think he's saying that the car has more power and thus it's easier to induce oversteer now.

I sure hope he's not inducing oversteer on the on ramps!

Smoothness in power delivery especially in a rwd can have huge impacts on how you can take corners....

Also with how the car steps out progressively you don't have to be hooning around to "step it out on an on ramp"

Looking forward to where this is going and finally having a decent tuning option for the NA guys
