1/4 tank ruling is probably because of fire hazard since it's indoors. And vehicle security since most cars that are there will be usually unlocked.

Battery on the other hand I have no clue. Car shows I've been on allows battery usage since some mods are audio. (Luckily for me my audio is STILL not done). Maybe a money thing?

Use 2 stroke oil. Kills the chirps for me. I put it in the fuel tank at a 1:1000 ratio. I use Lucas Oil 2T semi-synthetic w/ low ash. A small bottle costs me $3.99 at Pep Boys. It contains enough for 4 fill ups.

Was this posted on the forum somewhere? And your crickets will just keep coming back... you'll just have to learn to live with it. I gave up fighting it personally. I would just wait until subaru comes up with a fix instead of adding additives to your fuel system.

I hear you on that. I'm hoping to only deploy once more after this, but if I end doing 30 years than I will most likely have at least two more.

UPS ultra failed me, my supercharger was dropped so hard it broke the aluminium intake manifold! Of course only noticed it when my stock manifold was off and I was about to swap injectors over! jeez what luck!

Has anyone who has swapped out their crank pulley, come up with a good trick for keeping the crank from turning while removing and then re-torquing the crank bolt?

I'm not not saying it but they didn't say anything about not bringing a separate battery to power stuff as long as it's not connected to the engine or whatever.
Thanks, I think I understand now. I still think its a little odd but meh doesn't hurt anything.

On a side note, I am assuming that the picture in your avatar is your car, god it looks good!

Sorry I meant to reply and then got distracted by the post AzFranz made. I know that feeling, I couldn't believe it. Of course the thought hit shortly after seeing it that should I have made the walk nothing would have happened... but in the end Geico had it handled faster than I ever expected. It would have been nice to never have to deal with such an issue but I will say at least they didn't damage anything on mine and I hope the same held true for yours but I imagine something got hurt. Hope it got worked out for you as well.
