MCS does not provide bumpstops with their shocks and very few people actually end up using any with their shocks, they were a little surprised when I asked about them. They definitely do not use dust boots but they do have very good seals.

Would I run them through a winter with salt and snow, no. I'm not going to run them in the winter here in Atlanta even, don't really see a reason to since I'm not competing, although I have been running them since Feb.

If I'm spending that kind of change for shocks I'm making sure I protect it. They have this condom type bag that you slip over the coils to protect them from the elements. Traxxion Dynamics markets an item called "shock sock" I believe. I think this is a product worth selling and carrying for you damper vendors.

Usually the strut is pretty close to the tire though when you are trying to stuff as much tire as possible on a strut car and I imagine those type of covers would get eaten up. I'd love to use them though if not as I have torrington bearings on the spring seats and the height adjusters I'd like to protect too.

That's true. If you can give yourself a good +1/4" of clearance it might be worth trying. I think this is a really good but simple product to extend the service life of your investment. If not the struts at least you can slap them on your rear shocks. If clearance is going to be an issue and if you are ghetto enough, you can always throw some Saran Wrap around the coils periodically and change them like diapers on a baby once in a while. Lol
