A little bigger than we would like but these will be nice and quiet. Have 16 here with 30 more in route

Here is a diagram of the new flex couplers

Moving along with these. Modified a few that were coated. Had to strip, modify with new flex, and send back to coating.

Any possibility with fitment issues with the larger flexs?

Thanks for spending the time to do it right. A new product is never easy, but you're on the path to making a beautiful product worth waiting for.

Can't wait to get my chrome coated one. My ecutek tune is showing up tomorrow and my exhaust should finish up mid next week. Putting all 3 together FTW.

Just put on another one of these with the new flex sections. No fitment issues, even more clearance to the oil pan than the last. No issues with the undertray. Maybe the customer will put up some pics because I did not get the time to properly document. Unlike another header we saw here the exhaust did not sound awful with stock stuff. Not ideal, and a slight hint of rasp, but with a proper 2.5 header back is where this thing shines. Otherwise it sounded almost too quiet with the full stock exhaust!

As for HP, we got something like 15 hp up top, and 20+ hp in the worst sections of the dip after tuning. Without the tune it was 5 hp. Tune only normally does 8-12. If it was fully equipped with an exhaust we would've done even better.

As mike mentioned, it fit well and needs a headerback. (A big thanks to him and his crew during such a hot and humid day)

As I was driving home I did notice a more pronounced ticking/chirping sound during idle, possibly due to the fuel pump issue which was changed less than 1k miles ago (crickets came back before header install). In addition, it sounds like an exhaust leak to me and another friend during acceleration (maybe im not familiar with in cabin UEL sounds).

Anyways down to the dyno and pics
Blue - Stock + K&N Drop in Filter
Purple - K&N DIF + JDL UEL Header (no tune)
Green - K&N DIF + JDL UEL Header + moto-east tune

Check the bolts once it cools and re tourque if needed. I noticed on a local car that we needed to re tourque after a few heat cycles
