i'm not sure whats worse, that the owner thinks he'll get 35k, or the fact that you'd buy a car, mod it, then sell it just as fast

I could honestly see it going for $30k based on the local market and my experience with Californians, more money than brains seems like an apt description... I still see BRZ's with $5k markups locally and the SoCal market seems even more aggressive.

That's nuts - around here, they're going for 4-5k less, even though the ones at my local dealer have more options on them
