LOL, if he is actually serious....wow....

This reminds me a friend from high school who didn't go to college and it's doing not so well nowdays....his plan was:

I'll get a Ford Mustang GT right now at $33k, and when the new one comes out next year, I'll just trade it in for the new one.

With the wheels/tires, exhaust and intake upgrades I'll put on it (about $5k) it should make up for the depreciation value, therefore I won't lose any money....

I just looked at him and said: yeah....that sounds like a plan.

Sad part is he is actually doing that, he has the mustang with new wheels right now, and he is truly expecting to get $33k for it next year from the dealer, so he can trade it in for a 2015 mustang.

ZionsWrath 09-09-2013 09:52 AM

How did he get a loan for that?

Anthony 09-09-2013 09:56 AM

Man, I wish I could afford a used 86 with Rotas. I went the $10k less route, and it only came with Volks and coilovers. :(

WOW, I know I'm on the east coast but I bought my BRZ Limited with 3,500K miles on it for almost $12,000 less than they are asking.

It doesn't matter what coast you are on. The seller is never going to see $35K for this car. They will probably get closer to $26K for it if they are lucky.
