Here are the updated pictures... I'm not satisfied but apparently that's what I paid for. Subaru Canada said I have to deal with my local dealership because the undercoating is not by subaru..

Mosin Nagant? WTF! Did you do a lot of wet work for the Motherland in
WWII?

Actually, it doesnt look too bad now. Just tell people it's the new "Mat-splatter" outlaw engine look that's becoming the all the rage in SoCal!

That is just awful. I'd still want a replacement, just because they screwed up two cars doesn't justify that on either.

Popular, cheap import rifle with cheap milsurp ammo. You can buy one form Big 5 or Aim Surplus usually under $100. They used to go for $70 and under.

I had to bake cosmoline off of my SKS before I sold it, stinks up your house badly. But if you don't, you can get a runaway slamfire on the free-floating firing pin which is a giant ATF no-no. Not so much a problem on a bolt-action Mosin.

I was not aware it was still marketed. I collect mostly modern. I am familiar with it from studying World War II. The Nagant was much prized by Russian snipers. That includes the great Vasily Zaytsev who took out 400 nazis with his standard issue.
