Get rid of the snorkel. It has a smaller diameter than the rest of the piping. You are just restricting flow rate.

I might be getting this done soon. I currently dont have the oem snorkel on my car. Might log some current IAT's for comparison after getting this intake.

so the hose that goes to the air box, does the intake pipe have a fitting for the hose to go on to? looks like a pcv valve there that i had to splice in while doing the vortech installation.
