Use my subaru for an example
520whp = 131mph trap speed
So I know if I tune a that closely mirrors my car in weight/gearing and it makes 500whp I can confidently tell the customer it is capable of trapping 130-131mph

agreed agreed i see what your saying. I will post my sheets soon and i will do it on all my 3 levels of boost to compare and i will make sure i tag you so you wont miss the post.

These cars with low 400 wheel trap 128, but I understand the traps get tougher to get the higher the number.

128 w/ low 400s?

I'd need to see that w/ my own eyes--since I only know of a 127 trap w/ 460whp on a manual car...

I'm thinking closer to 120-123+ in decent air w/ a good driver. My .02...

11.1 or 11.2 seconds dynosty trapped 127.9 sticky tires and a good launch had 400whp and 315ish tq thats who im aimming to beat just a goal in my head

I can see that.. I trapped 113 with low 300s, I would guess 450s should trap around 125-126mph in a manual car... Also remember that these cars have short gearing, so that shift to 5th will also cause the mph to be low up top as well.

I used one of my cars as an example of power/mph. That car is like 800lbs heavier then an FRS... and a station wagon lol

I thought Dynosty was @ ~460whp?

Regardless, 400whp/~2800# does not compute for 128 traps--my math says it's closer to 430-440whp.

But, hey--I hope you're right, since I'm looking for ~400whp here shortly from my setup.

I am a (cooler weather) drag racer as well--so I'll definitely post up my results after I go.
