P and L turbo kit, anyone know about this kit?

My local tuner suggested I look into this kit. Anyone know about the P and L kit?

Looks pretty good, stage 1 kit starts at 5 grand, but goes up quickly with options.

great you found the MOST expensive turbo kit around here.
other great kits start at $3500.

doesnt mean its bad. Quick run down of parts shows it has some really good parts. Precision turbos FTW.

look at the turbo that kits come with, thats a large reflection on the price. PL and FBM use fancier turbos then the base FA20 which I think is he cheapest kit. Not knocking the 50/57/60 trim Ive used two of them myself on past projects, they are cost pretty low cost compared to the Precision and GT28 in the other kits.

The P&L is nearly identical to the Full Blown and FA20Club kits. I wouldn't buy the P&L kit over the other two options unless I was getting a great deal on a used kit. I think @Supermassive is the only person I know that was running one on this site.

@Kochinopride is as well.

Someone must be buying them. They were packing up 4 kits the other day.

Lol @ e-charger zealot.

I think I was one of the first to have the kit installed. Solid turbo solution that hasn't had any hardware issues whatsoever. The shop has been expanding on this build and it's been going great. These guys do solid work. I've seen an FA20 and FBM crap out on owners, not sure if it's hardware or tune related, but I'd rather pay the amount I did and know that it won't die on me, then save a few hundred now and have to pay for repairs and replacements later... That's my perspective on things.

Didn't your kit survive a front end collision with minimal damage?

P&L Motorsports 07-29-2013 02:35 PM

We've got a quite a few folks running our kit including some customers over seas. Let me know if there are any questions you haven't found an answer to.

Except that he isn't talking about an electrocharger. That will probably be half the cost of the cheapest turbocharger kit.
He is referring to a solid bargain exhaust driven turbocharger kit.
