Spoilers/Wings?
Seems like there aren't a lot of options for spoilers for our car. Right now I am considering just an OEM or replica BRZ spoiler or a TRD spoiler; does anyone know where to buy one for cheap (like under 300)? (asphalt/DGM). For the BRZ wing it looks like it'll run be a little under 500 for a painted one (http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Genuine-...-/370627904629), TRD one I have no idea.
At these prices I am seriously considering a replica which can come unpained under 200, not sure how much to paint it would cost but hopefully not over 100. Does anyone know if this is legit: http://www.carid.com/2014-subaru-brz-spoiler/ I'm assuming it's not OEM but I don't really care as long as quality is there and fitment is right. Side note the GTR wing looks amazing on our cars but I heard it requires additional fabrication to make it fit sigh.

Try this thread.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10606 And if I'm not mistaken Wald makes a wing similar to the GTR, though maybe a little thinner. I looked at the car:id one before and people posted positive reviews about it on here a while back. Haven't done business with them personally though (I decided on TRD style in the end, get in touch with Bayson R as there's are cheap. Or the stivo that wheeldude sells. They had a bad batch a while back but I think it all got taken care of. |

If you are looking for a BRZ Replica, check out the trunk swap thread, I could not find it, it may has sunk down, but there are plenty of BRZ people willing to swap so they can get different spoilers without leaving holes in the trunk.
I did this, it worked really well for me. The BRZ spoiler looks much better on the FRS, and is a factory spoiler elsewhere in the world, makes for a very clean look. |

Yea, that looks like the OEM BRZ wing.
I just say replica because he did not seem interested in paying for the full price OEM wing, which is easily $500+ painted and installed. So a reasonable route to go would be a knock-off with a good fit. |

Semi-bump - does anyone know where this thread is? I'd like to get in on that if someone wants a clean Raven trunk.

In my opinion the BRZ rear spoiler looks like it belongs on a Pontiac Grand Am......

That entirely depends on what you're doing with them. This one is probably less powerful than that even, but I guarantee you it benefits from its wings:

Yes I am not interested in dropping half a grand for a painted spoiler to have it "OEM". Cheap bumpers I have been wary of because of their easily scratched and damaged position on the car but spoilers shouldn't run into that issue.
