GT wings street legal? or not
I have been asking many people and researching on RTA website about if GT-wings are street legal but can not find a definitive answer. can someone confirm this please?

in Australia yes you guys have a law regarding protruding sharp objects mounted on your vehicle.

Ring the RTA in your state for a definitive answer.
Whatever advice you get here is not going stop you from getting a defect. |

so I called RTA and also checked with the Australian Design Rule just to make sure. The main problem with gt-wings is they are considered sharp objects. In NSW edges with radii less then 5mm are considered sharp.
Size wise they are actually not a problem as long as your car fits in the dimension specified on the ADR its ok. |

thats stupid crazy. even if its feasible, common sense dictates that the rear bumper will hit them first.
what really chaps my ass are laws that we have to follow but cops dont. the biggest one is tint. 50% is the legal limit here however on cop cars they run 15-20%. |
